Placing orders
As a new a client:
Requesting a quote is facilitated by use of an enquiry form available on the item page, or the top page “Contact” button, or the bottom page info@krzywda.co link.
When placing an order, Krzywda requires a 50% downpayment to initiate work (on build-to-order items), or in full to ship readily available pieces (select furniture, artwork and jewelry).
Up to 12 weeks lead time will be required to fabricate build-to-order items.
Krzywda will notify the work is ready to properly coordinate shipping and process the 50% remainder to release the order.
Orders must ship within 2 weeks of completion beyond which a storage fee of $100/day will be charged to the client for build-to-order pieces until removal.
Shipping
Artwork & Furniture:
-Shipping is quoted upon request on a case-per-case basis varying upon the item’s specificities (size, weight, fragility, value, etc…), destination(s), means (sea/air) and the following methods employed:
Insured Mail for items up to 20 kilos fitting standard volumetric requirements.
Crated Curbside delivery for items beyond in weight and/or standard volumes.
White Glove Delivery.
Client Arranged Shipping.
Our clients specify what method(s) and means are preferred (for orders of multiples, Krzywda can quote and ship separately if requested).
Duties and fees
Krzywda will not be held responsible for any duties and fees related to international shipping.
These are the buyer's responsibility.
Proper and relevant contact information shall always be provided to Krzywda upon placing an order to ensure notifications reach the points of contact designated/mandated by the client in due time.
Delays in shipping
Krzywda will not be held responsible for any delays incurred during shipping due to adverse weather conditions, customs and other elements and/or third parties foreign to Krzywda's control (this includes whom ever is point of contact designated/mandated by the client to clear shipments in customs).
On arrival - Shipping:
Krzywda will request to be notified within 5 days of delivery of any damage caused by shipping. Failure to provide documented evidence of the damage within 5 days of receipt will void the possibility of a claim.
Beyond:
Krzywda will not be held responsible for the following causes of damages:
improper storage leading to exposure to weather, adverse or improper environment (outdoors, extra-dry or extra-humid, cold or hot, abrupt transitions from said environments, cellars, etc...).
improper installation or assembly by the client or the clients' installer.
any costs related to the hire or use of third party for of installation, removal, or re-installation.
improper cleaning solutions or methods.
damage to our works, in part or as a whole caused by the improper use of light bulbs.
restoration and/or repair work.
any parts purchased separately and used in conjunction with our works.
Damage
Our work is entirely handmade. Our materials are natural. Consequently, variations in our finishes are to be expected. No two items will be identical.
Over the course of the years, changes in the appearance of finishes will occur. Our pieces are meant to age and turning a patina over time is an intended result.
Through time
Due to the build-to-order and highly customized nature of our work, we cannot offer returns.
Returns
We do not store any credit card data in any form on our website. Such data is discarded immediately following the completion of the credit card transaction.
We retain account information such as email address, name, and address on our system to make your shopping and ordering experience faster and more convenient. Such information can be removed from our system by sending an e-mail request to info@krzywda.co. Security measures are in place to maintain the safety of your personal information while you visit our website. All sensitive information (card, address, etc...) is transmitted via SSL technology and encrypted into our Payment gateway provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems; this information will be kept confidential.
