Conceived concurrently to the ARC-0 sculpture, the Arc Rainbow Bookend serves a purpose. One of the simplest and most straight forward pieces in the collection along with its bigger sister, the Rainbow Bookend is naïve, approachable and was originally inspired by children's toys and their primitive and simplified interpretation of the environment they offer for their intended audience. The intent here is similar in nature: a primitive interpretation readable by all, but heightened with a use of unexpected materials not usually destined for children's enlightenment.
